About Matt ColeFounder of Peak Exercise Sciences, Matt Cole (M.Sc., B.HK, CSCS) holds a master's degree form the University of Victoria specializing in exercise physiology and training methodology for strength and power athletes. He completed his Bachelor of Human Kinetics at the University of British Columbia and is a certified strength and conditioning specialist through the National Strength & Conditioning Association (NSCA) and is an active member of the Canadian Society for Exercise Physiology (CSEP). As an exercise physiologist, Matt has conducted research in the area of periodization and resistance training overtraining, taught exercise science courses at the university level, and written academic papers on sport supplementation and doping, periodization, overtraining, and power development. As a master trainer, Matt's experience in designing and implementing conditioning programs is vast and includes the unique areas of fitness conditioning for the general public, active rehabilitation for soft tissue injuries, and sport conditioning for strength and power athletes. Matt Cole has been in the fitness industry since 1992. |

About Nilou Safa
Nilou is a BCRPA registered personal trainer with an extensive background in fitness and martial arts, from which she has developed a unique style and method of training. She effectively incorporates kickboxing and boxing with conventional resistance training to offer fun and effective workouts. Nilou trains with discipline, focus, and motivation, which ensures her clients break down physical and mental barriers and achieve a higher level of fitness. She has expertise in conditioning programming dedicated to a diverse group of populations and objectives including: fat loss, lean mass accretion (muscle gains), sports specific training, strength, and overall vitality and health. Nilou speaks Farsi as well as English. She is currently continuing her kinesiology studies. |

About Sébastien Blanchette
Sébastien completed his Bachelor of Science (Kinesiology) in 2007 at Université du Québec à Trois-Rivières. In addition, Sébastien is a a practing kinesiologist with the BCAK,a certified personal trainer with the BCRPA, and a contributing fitness columnist for L’Express du Pacifique. For Sébastien, fitness has always been a passion. He has over 4 years experience as a personal trainer working with a variety of clientele including athletes (soccer and hockey players) as well as persons with diseases such as diabetes and multiple sclerosis and individuals with soft tissue injuries. Sébastien speaks English as well as French. |
